This item has a release date of March 25th 2008. TRACK INFORMATION My Philosophy- We tracked all of this live, which means, we sat in a room and recorded all of the parts at once. Then, we invited a bunch of friends over, threw a party, put the microphone in the middle of the room. Then, we had everyone chant, clap, yell, scream, make sexual noises, hump the floor, throw up on each other, (maybe I'm exaggerating) etc. and recorded the entire thing. We'll be taking that entire recording of randomness, and having it play as the background to the music... it should sound really cool. Driving Away- We recorded this normal (meaning, we didn't throw a party in the studio), and used a mandolin throughout the entire thing. It sounds really cool and has a Goo Goo Dolls type feel... it's very bluegrass/folk feeling. We planned to get an accordion in the song, but we couldn't find anyone around the Atlanta area who played one...bummer. Never Enough- This version is very vocal driven, and has a lot of crazy harmonies, and an acapella part in it... it's super angelic sounding and almost has a feeling of "floating". When it's all mixed, it should sound really different from the original version. Walking By- We used a rhodes-type keyboard to recording this entire song, and the direction is very very different from the original version. We also added an outro-of sorts, with a huge crescendo and really sad and depressing feel. We tried to hammer home a certain emotion with this song, and I think we effectively did that (hopefully).
